No dynamic elastomers and no springs to clog: the metal bellows is the answer for extreme temperatures, cryogenic duty and crystallising fluids. Available with graphite secondary seals for -60 °C to +450 °C.

Rotating component seal with AM350 metal bellows. Available with Hastelloy C276 bellows and retainer (581) or AISI 316 retainer (582).

Single rotating metal bellows cartridge seal. Stationary (784), quench lip seal (780Q) or bushing ring (780FB) versions.

Double rotating metal bellows cartridge seal, with a wide range of bellows materials. Stationary version: Style 787.

Rotating metal bellows component seal with graphite secondary seals for cryogenic or high-temperature duty up to 380 °C. The 591 adds a drive pin and double-ply bellows.

Single rotating metal bellows cartridge seal with graphite secondaries. Stationary (794), quench (790Q) or floating bush (790FB) versions.

Double rotating metal bellows cartridge seal with graphite secondaries for the most severe temperatures. Stationary version: Style 797.

Metal bellows seal faces can also be supplied with CVD diamond coating, which drastically reduces friction and generated heat and tolerates occasional lack of lubrication. Especially useful in hot services and low-lubrication media.
